Christian Mardrus - KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Group CIO - Renault

Mr. Mardrus is an engineering graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Corps Interministeriel of Telecommunications. He began his career at the French Telecommunications ministry, then worked at Peat Marwick Consultants between 1986 and 1991. From 1991 to 1999, Mr. Mardrus held a number of posts in organisation/information systems, sales and services within the Otis Group. He joined Renault in November 1999 as Director of commercial information systems before being appointed Vice President, Services at the Sales and Marketing Department in February 2002. He was then appointed Director of the French Network in September 2004. From the 1st of July 2006, he was appointed Vice President, Chief Information officer.

Dr Heinz Schäffer
CPO Europe - AXA

Dr. Schäffer was responsible for establishing the procurement function for AXA within Germany. He was instrumental in defining the organisational structure, the key policies and building the procurement team. Dr. Schäffer actively contributes to international AXA procurement activities and since Summer 2007 has taken additional responsibilities for procurement in Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Slovakia. In addition, he lectures at a number of German and Austrian business schools.

Niall O'Sullivan
Global Finance Transformation Director - Vodafone

Mr. O'Sullivan was educated at University College Dublin and started his career with KPMG. He worked with Dell and Oracle, setting up call centres and offshore shared service centres in Ireland, before joining the Irish mobile operator Eircell, as CFO, which was later sold to Vodafone. In 2006, Mr O'Sullivan was appointed Global Finance Transformation Director with the aim of maximising the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance function.

Mike Jones
Director of IT - Britvic

Mr. Jones has been Director of IT at Britvic plc for the last 12 years having previously held a number of senior IT positions in Brewing and Pub Retailing. He has worked with The Hackett Group since 2006 following the completion of a major Business Transformation programme. The latter requiring a step change in the performance of IT in terms of its underlying cost base and the quality of the services provided to its business.


Helen Cain
Director Shared Services - Serco

Ms. Cain was appointed Director of the Shared Service Centre on 1st June 2008 with responsibility for leading and developing the shared service provision for the Serco group. The shared service centre provides Finance and Accounting services to the UK and ASPAC covering a wide range of businesses of varying size and complexity. Prior to this role, she held a number of senior finance roles at Serco and Taylor Nelson Sofres plc and has also worked in audit for Pricewaterhouse.

Massimo Macarti
Chief of Human Resources EMEA - Canon Europe

Mr. Macarti is Chief of Human Resources for Canon in Europe, which employs about 11,000 people across the EMEA region. He is responsible for all of the pan-European business units, including all HR related spheres, such as Remuneration and Benefits, Organisational Development, HR Operations and HR Partnership with Business Units. Mr. Macarti is focussed on driving HR to become world-class, together with developing the HR value proposition to support the business objective of sustaining profitability and growth by developing its people. Before joining Canon, Mr. Macarti had different experiences in consulting, as well as commercial and technical roles in other companies.

Wayne Mincey
President - The Hackett Group

Mr. Mincey joined The Hackett Group as President and Chief Operating Officer in December 2003. Prior to joining Hackett, he served as President of the Spherion Technology Group, a $300+ million IT consulting, managed services and staffing company. He has an extensive background in operations, strategic planning, financial management, and sales and market execution. Mr. Mincey also served as the founding President of Enthusian, a Spherion/Accenture joint venture providing Web-based supply chain solutions and managed services for human capital. He has also held various roles at Norell Corporation, and spent more than a decade at Ryder in positions that included Vice President of Operations for Ryder TRS and Group Finance Director and CFO - Europe for Ryder Truck Rental.

Philippe Maziol
Vice President Finance Operations and Treasury, Airbus

Mr. Maziol is Vice President Finance Operations and Treasury for Airbus. He is responsible for all finance transaction processing, hedging and corporate financing and is also leading one of the Power8 project modules to deliver over $2billion of cash through working capital optimisation. Before joining Airbus, Mr. Maziol held several finance positions with Astrium, Matra Marconi Space UK and Matra Espace. He earned a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from University Montpellier.

Jean-Francois Vigneron
Head of AREVA NP Information Systems, AREVA

Mr. Vigneron has been working in Information Systems and Communications for 20 years. He began his career with GKN-Brambles, an Anglo-Australian group, as head of the IT department of its subsidiary Chep in Europe. Mr. Vigneron was instrumental in computerising the entire container logistics for General Motors in Europe and in 2000 he moved to Peugeot Citroen subsidiary Gefco as head of Innovation and Technology Marketing; here he restructured the group's logistics offer and the corresponding supply chain information system. In July 2006 he joined AREVA as Head of ANP Information Systems for subsidiaries SAS; GmbH and Inc. He is currently implementing the IS road map to 2012 to support AREVA NP's growth and help it win new markets.

Dr. Lothar Steinebach
Executive Vice President and CFO, Henkel

Dr. Lothar Steinebach started working as an attorney at Henkel in 1980, before being appointed as Corporate Vice President Finance & Controlling in 1995. He has been involved in many major transactions, acquisitions and joint ventures, particularly after 1985 when Henkel issued preference shares, which were traded on the stock exchange. Dr. Steinebach has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Henkel KGaA, based in Düsseldorf, Germany, since July 2003. Furthermore, since July 2007, he has been Head of Legal and in charge of Purchasing and IT.

Steve Kowalke
Former Senior Vice President and Treasurer, Target Corporation

As Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Target Corporation, Steve Kowalke had responsibility for Banking and Financing, Investments, Risk Management, Taxation, and Acquisitions and Divestitures. After a 25 year career with Target, three years ago, Mr. Kowalke decided to leave the corporate scene and focus his time on volunteering with Non-Profit organisations that may not have the resources to hire consultants. Since that time, Steve supports the Cognos Innovation Center for Performance Management as an Advisor and Thought Leader.

Winfried Rapp
CFO, SAP UK and Ireland

Winfried Rapp, Chief Financial Director joined SAP UK and Ireland after working with SAP Group headquarters in Walldorf for Werner Brandt, Executive Board and the Chief Financial Officer of SAP AG. Mr. Rapp is responsible for the corporation's financial activities and for corporate administration. He has international business experience in a range of industries including logistics and transportation, automotive manufacturing and most recently telecommunications, spending three years working within the Deutsche Telekom Group at T-Mobile in London.

Alf Noto
Head of Procurement, Nokia

Mr. Noto Joined Nokia in 2002 as Vice President of Indirect Sourcing and Outsourcing and on 1 October took on the new challenge of leading Nokia's Customer Care organisation. Throughout his career he has worked across a wide variety of industries, in purchasing or supply chain strategy roles. Mr. Noto's early career was in the automotive industry with Rover and then Nissan. This was followed by three years with Reckitt & Colman, seven years at SmithKline Beecham and after a short spell at CGU Insurance in 2000 he co-founded eProcurement business, TomorrowFirst.

Joel Roques
European Managing Director - Advisor, The Hackett Group

Mr. Roques supervises all Hackett advisory programs in Europe. Before joining The Hackett Group, he spent 11 years as a partner in a global consulting firm, where he specialised in finance transformation, shared services implementation and change management, having previously worked for 10 years in several roles within the finance functions of petrochemical and civil engineering companies, both in France and the UK. Mr Roques is an associate professor at the Ecole de Management, where he teaches change management.

Frank Lindenberg
Vice President Finance Transformation, Daimler AG

Mr. Lindenberg is an Economics graduate from the University of Hanover and has extensive experience in the automotive industry, having worked for Mercedes-Benz, before moving on to become Director Corporate Controlling and Member of DaimlerChrysler Post Merger Integration Team. He has also worked as the CFO and Director Global Sales Controlling for DaimlerChrysler, before becoming the Vice President for Finance Development and Operations, a position he has held since 2006.

Steve Hobson
VP Global Business Service Centres, InterContinental Hotels Group

Mr. Hobson is Head of Global Business Service Centres for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) based in the UK. More recently he has been responsible for managing a global transformation programme for the Global Business Service Centres. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Hobson held roles as Head of Business Service Centres in both Atlanta and Sydney for IHG. Mr. Hobson commenced his career with KPMG in Brisbane Australia, and is a qualified accountant with an MBA.

David West
CFO EMEA, Covidien

Mr. West is currently CFO for Covidien's EMEA region (formerly Tyco Healthcare) a position he has held since 2000. His extensive leadership experience in Finance spans almost 30 years in industries ranging from Construction and Aircraft Navigation & Communication Equipment to Communications and Healthcare. Mr. West's many achievements include leading acquisitions and mergers, driving ERP systems changes, streamlining sales reporting systems and transforming the focus of financial support for Covidien's diverse businesses in the EMEA region.

Sunil Narang
Vice President, Business Solutions Partnering, Level 3

Mr. Narang is Vice President, Business Solutions Partnering at Level 3 (NASDAQ:LVLT), a leading international communications company that operates one of the largest communications and internet backbones in the world, where he is responsible for partner relationship and strategy relating to BSP. He has over 20 years of diverse international experience in Business Development, Corporate Finance, Financial Controllership and Business Strategy and is a member of key groups of Thought Leaders in the BPO/Offshoring industry. He is a qualified CPA and a Chartered Accountant with vast cross industry experience.
